    The Mater Salvatoris school intellectually trains its students with true perseverance. For this reason:

    • It stimulates the desire to know the universe created by God.

    • It ignites the love of truth, which excludes superficiality when it comes to learning and judging.

    • It awakens the critical sense, which rejects the naive acceptance of any statement.

    WE EDUCATE THE WILL

    Will is a key piece in the building of personality. Our students live in a postmodern society in which feeling is often valued above reason.

    Therefore, forging the will is more necessary today than ever.

    Motivation, order, perseverance and a mixture of joy and enthusiasm are the best tools to educate the will. At Mater Salvatoris School we wish to train:

    • Truly free young people, capable of giving direction to their lives regardless of the environment and circumstances.

    • Young people with great ideals, who know how to fight with all their strength to achieve a specific good.

    • Young people who do not give up in the face of difficulties and who have perseverance and firmness in their intentions.

    LET’S EDUCATE THE HEART

    A balanced affectivity and the formation of one’s own identity are essential to finding happiness.

    Educating feelings and emotions is an essential aspect of human formation. If intelligence is the light of the spirit, the heart is its strength. We train students with hearts capable of being enthusiastic about truth, beauty, good feelings and affection. In short, hearts capable of experiencing, feeling, seeking and living love.

    WE EDUCATE INTIMACY

    Educating about intimacy is essential so that our students can maintain peace and the harmonious development of their personality.

    In a world dominated by haste and superficiality, it is necessary to have spaces for reflection and silence, as a privileged means of promoting the encounter with God.

    For this reason, the Mater Salvatoris school offers its students the possibility of maintaining a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

    Within the training itinerary, the College includes appropriate catechesis to receive two sacraments:

    • First Communion
    • Confirmation

    We also educate in love for the Virgin Mary. The School is entrusted under her protection and under her invocation Mater Salvatoris the model offered to the students is built: deep faith, absolute trust in God and self-giving.

    WE EDUCATE GENEROSITY AND FROM FREEDOM

    We facilitate our students to have a direct experience of giving to those in need and to carry out some type of volunteer work.

    Following the teaching of Saint Ignatius of Loyola , “Love must be expressed more in deeds than in words” , one of the dimensions of the Christian faith that the School develops in all students is sensitivity towards those most in need, through solidarity campaigns such as Domund, Missionary Childhood, the Christmas Campaign or the Great Food Collection.

    A fundamental objective in the spiritual formation offered by the College is that religious practice should not be felt as an external imposition, but as a free and affectionate response to God , who has loved us first.
