Pre-School

In this educational stage our first objective is adaptation. We care that each child is happy, calm and above all that feels wanted in the School.

From the beginning we work on habits, basic routines such as eating, sleeping, hygiene… everyday routines that happen in a stable way, with the same schedule and respecting the rhythm that each child needs.

We also educate the will, we try that from a young age children experience the joy of doing things well.

    • EARLY STIMULATION

      The potential of a child at birth is immense. Its further development will depend on the amount of stimuli that it receives in the first years of life. In the School we create environments rich in intellectual, physical and social stimuli so that each student develops to the maximum their capacities

    • PSYCHOMOTRICITY

      We work it daily with half-hour sessions. Thus they acquire a mastery of their own body, which will allow them to develop properly.

      Breathing, coordination and balance, bases of the initiation to sport are worked on.

    • TRILINGUAL ENVIRONMENT

      From the beginning the student is immersed in an environment where Catalan, Spanish and English are spoken.

      They have three daily sessions of English with native and bilingual teachers. In addition, some subjects are taught in English.

      Throughout Child Education children consolidate the learning of English through stories, songs, games, drama and vocabulary, so that the English language becomes natural for them.

      To establish the basis of correct pronunciation, the method of reading phonetic writing used in the College is The Oxford Reading Tree combined with Jolly Phonics, an attractive and fun way of learning used in the UK.

      The English language becomes natural for children.

    • FUN MATHS

      Maths is done in a useful and practical way. We give strategies to solve mathematical situations in a practical context and through different sensory and physical stimuli we make maths content more beneficial.

    • PROGRAMMING

      In Early Childhood Education we work on an initial introduction to Cubetto programming. The children learn to program this robot and make it interact with its surroundings using coloured chips.

      In addition we develop the competences mathematics and space.

      It is a simple and fun way to learn programming.

    • AULA MONTESSORI

       It is an environment prepared with all the material at hand, where the children are the protagonist of their own learning.

      – Sensory area. Sensory activities give children the opportunity to explore a variety of subjects through the manipulation of objects using their senses.
      – Language area. To work on expression, understanding and reading in a dynamic and fun way.
      – Artistic area. It allows children to create and to experiment with a diversity of materials, textures and techniques, enhancing the creativity, the artistic interest and stimulating the imagination.
      – Area of ​​practical life. Activities are carried out to develop daily life skills, promoting their autonomy and educational habits.
      – Area of ​​the sciences. To discover the environment and awaken curiosity for Nature.
