In this educational stage our first objective is adaptation. We care that each child is happy, calm and above all that feels wanted in the School.

From the beginning we work on habits, basic routines such as eating, sleeping, hygiene… everyday routines that happen in a stable way, with the same schedule and respecting the rhythm that each child needs.

We also educate the will, we try that from a young age children experience the joy of doing things well.


    The potential of a child at birth is immense. Its further development will depend on the amount of stimuli that it receives in the first years of life. In the School we create environments rich in intellectual, physical and social stimuli so that each student develops to the maximum their capacities


    We work it daily with half-hour sessions. Thus they acquire a mastery of their own body, which will allow them to develop properly.

    Breathing, coordination and balance, bases of the initiation to sport are worked on.


    From the beginning the student is immersed in an environment where Catalan, Spanish and English are spoken.

    They have three daily sessions of English with native and bilingual teachers. In addition, some subjects are taught in English.

    Throughout Child Education children consolidate the learning of English through stories, songs, games, drama and vocabulary, so that the English language becomes natural for them.

    To establish the basis of correct pronunciation, the method of reading phonetic writing used in the College is The Oxford Reading Tree combined with Jolly Phonics, an attractive and fun way of learning used in the UK.

    The English language becomes natural for children.


    Maths is done in a useful and practical way. We give strategies to solve mathematical situations in a practical context and through different sensory and physical stimuli we make maths content more beneficial.


    In Early Childhood Education we work on an initial introduction to Cubetto programming. The children learn to program this robot and make it interact with its surroundings using coloured chips.

    In addition we develop the competences mathematics and space.

    It is a simple and fun way to learn programming.


     It is an environment prepared with all the material at hand, where the children are the protagonist of their own learning.

    -Sensory area. Sensory activities give children the opportunity to explore a variety of subjects through the manipulation of objects using their senses.

    -Language area. To work on expression, understanding and reading in a dynamic and fun way.

    -Artistic area. It allows children to create and to experiment with a diversity of materials, textures and techniques, enhancing the creativity, the artistic interest and stimulating the imagination.

    -Area of ​​practical life. Activities are carried out to develop daily life skills, promoting their autonomy and educational habits.

    -Area of ​​the sciences. To discover the environment and awaken curiosity for Nature.

    Play activity through play encourages children’s learning.

The Primary Education stage is the optimal moment for the education of the will.

The College, in collaboration with the family, proposes that students assume work and study habits, develop basic cultural skills, and awaken their critical sense and responsibility.

In addition, special care is taken to care for those with special educational needs.

    At this stage, special care is taken to enjoy their relationship with God, through the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist, which they receive for the first time in 3rd of Primary.
  • Orchard Project
    Feeling part of a project means that we can get involved in a special way in what is being created. From the school garden the students of the higher courses of this stage will feel responsible and create a new space of the school that can share with the entire school community (students, parents, teachers …) From the preparation of the land, planting , Care, crops for sale or donation of the products they will be responsible for this school garden. All of this using English as the main language, applying math, science or language skills and using materials they have created in art education or skills.

The compulsory Secondary Education Stage (12-16 years) comprises of four courses.

At this stage students consolidate their study habits and are helped to take their academic training seriously  applying criteria of scientific rigor and ethical assessment.

    Through which students develop creativity and capacity for  abstraction, systematic structured logical formal thinking, teamwork and the integration of  knowledge of science and technology.

  • Learning Social skills +

    The students of the second stage of ESO fulfill  a complete program of action and service. Students are expected to take part  in a variety of service activities,  collaborating with the community. Always simultaneous with their academic studies.

  • Applied mathematics +

    A discipline designed to develop and give strategies to students so that they are able to analyze and solve mathematical situations in a real and practical context.

  • Live language +

    We prepare students to be able to interact appropriately, know how to put forward their opinions, communicate their thoughts, knowledge and understand the opinions and values ​​that are transmitted through oral and written language.

  • Sport +

    Due to its privileged surroundings Mater Salvatoris school is in an ideal area to practice many different sports. The school has many appropriate facilities where students can develop their skills.

  • Pioneers in research +

    Students count with one hour a week dedicated to research in the laboratory, using the scientific methods. In 4º of ESO this subject culminates with a group research project.

The LOE Baccalaureate is structured in two academic courses (1st and 2nd).

These are multi-purpose, integrative, flexible and guiding studies. They aim to ensure, in a culturally and technically changing society, the integral formation of the student, intellectual and human maturity, and the acquisition and integration of new knowledge and skills, facilitating the rigorous use of cognitive tools.

They can choose into two types of Baccalaureate:

– Sciences and Technology.

– Humanities and Social Sciences

At the end of this stage we want our students to acquire the ability to live in Truth and choose Goodness by striving to be persons rather than materialists. The aim is that students are creative, with a critical spirit, open minded, supportive, integrity, mature and reflective.
